Commercial/Industrial HVAC, Refrigeration, Boiler Technicians for Service in Northeastern PA and parts of New Jersey.

Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 3 Years+ (Preferred)

  • Relevant certifications and licenses
  • Must possess a clean driving record that is insurable
  • Boiler, Burner, and/or other commercial HVAC related service experience.
  • Perform Troubleshooting during Routine Service Calls, Start-Up / Warranty Phases in a timely manner.
  • Communicate Issues, Resolutions, & Needs w/ Management, Parts Dept., Tech Support, & Customers.
  • Show yourself as a Dependable, Professional and Knowledgeable technician.
  • Work well as a team with other technicians and dispatch to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
  • Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and team-oriented personality.
  • Strong desire to learn and take direction.

CNC Machine Operator/Metal Fabricator. Easton, PA

Sheet Metal Fabricator Welder needed for Super Heat Inc. which is a commercial HVACR Mechanical Installation & Custom Metal Fabrication Shop. This role will require setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and form sheet metal.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert blueprints into shop drawings to be followed in the construction or assembly of sheet metal products.
  • Must be familiar or have experience using one or more of the following pieces of equipment:
    mechanical shear, press brake, waterjet, plasma table, oxy-acetylene torch, drill press, punch press, tube bender.
  • Must be able to differentiate between various metal types and gauge.
  • Determine project requirements, such as scope, assembly sequences, or required methods or materials, using blueprints, drawings, or written or verbal instructions.
  • Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, such as using calculators to determine bend deductions, scribes, calipers, protractors, and other similar tools.
  • Fasten seams or joints together with screws, rivets, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
  • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
  • MIG, TIG, Stick, and Hard facing a plus
  • Ability to bend and weld Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum
  • Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, or smooth surfaces, seams, or joints of assembled parts, using hand tools or portable power tools.
  • Select gauges or types of sheet metal or nonmetallic material, according to product specifications.
  • Finish parts, using hacksaws or hand, rotary, or squaring shears.
  • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites if required, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
  • Maintain equipment, making repairs or modifications when necessary.
  • Develop or lay out patterns, using computerized metalworking equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in awkward positions and tight areas).
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of small shop tools.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Familiarity with using a computer.
  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.

Commercial HVAC Sales Estimator. Easton, Pa & Mount Bethel, Pa

The Sales Estimator is responsible for performing field surveys to develop scopes and sales
estimates for commercial building HVAC, Boiler, and Refrigeration projects. This position will also
actively seek bid opportunities and commercial project sales by prospecting and responding to
routine sales leads. Must have experience running company generated opportunities and
development of new business, prospecting, setting sales appointments, meeting sales quotas,
identifying customer needs, and have an understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems in
order to appraise, estimate and inventory system components & needs.

 

Job Duties Include:

  • Responsible for creating cost estimates consisting of materials, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities to assist in bidding on or determining the price for controls wiring projects.
  • Optimizes job costs by negotiating prices with vendors through quotations for  aterials/services.
  • Review specifications, drawings and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
  • Execute material quantity estimates for our full scope of work
  • Request quotes and pricing from material suppliers
  • Prepare documents for order entry and uploading these in the correct format for installation and engineering. Meet with project managers, engineers and installation team as required to communicate project requirements.
  • Responsible for the take-off and pricing of controls, systems, labor and materials to ensure accuracy of quantity, size, configuration, voltage, options, etc.
  • Assists with major deviations from scope with team after project scope validation.
  • Take assigned, small projects from cradle to grave – survey, estimate, propose, close Minimum qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 2-4 years’ experience developing proposals and estimating
  • Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client  relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to negotiate, compromise and work on a cross-functional team
  • Detail oriented, personally organized, with solid time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with project management
    tools such as MS Project * Computer Systems & Software Proficient
